Have you seen Rodney?

Police are continuing to appeal for public assistance to help locate Rodney Fielding missing from Townsville.

The 52-year-old’s vehicle, a grey 2001 Ford Falcon sedan (similar to pictured) bearing Queensland Registration 610-HYL was located today in the camping grounds of Bowling Green Bay National Park.

Initial investigations indicate the vehicle may have been there since Saturday, April 15.

Police are appealing for information from any person who may have seen Rodney in the vicinity of Bowling Green Bay National Park or who can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Rodney is described as Caucasian in appearance, of a slim build, approximately 180 centimetres tall with short hair. He was last seen wearing blue denim jeans and a flannelette shirt.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare because he has not been in contact with family.

Anyone who sees him or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
